This movie hit me right in the feels. This was my childhood. Every one of my freinds and me came from broken homes. Learning to abuse drugs from grade school to escape down to trying to escape with a xbox controller. jonah hill did wonders with this one. Hit the nail on the head

Jonah Hill's directing is like Cameron Crowe mixed with Richard Linklater! An instant classic that you'll definitely enjoy rolling through and taking a ride.

  17. Julian Briseno says:

This deserves it's own show. Jonah Hill would kill with a "shameless" type episodic show.

Ahh the 90s when all races got along and hung out chilled and dated each other. 90s and early 2000s we will never see those days again.

    Sad world we live in.

I was about the sixth or seventh grade when this movie is set in. I felt like Stevie being so awkward but trying to be cool at the same time. I'm 37 now looking back SO many good times and miss all those old friends.

It just ends. None of the drama gets tied up. You don't see where any of it goes, and that's what hit me. That's just life and growing up, it can't be summed up in neat, tidy one and a half segments. I had a feeling this was gonna be a good film, but I wasn't expecting this. Very raw, very real. 10/10
